Crown Vision Center - Alton

I have been going through crown vision for over 15 plus years, and I love them. This was a new location for me and I didn't know what I was walking into after reading the reviews. I have to say I didn't have no bad experience here, and Kate was very nice. Everyone made you feel welcomed the moment you walked in. Would most definitely keep going here.

Went in for my annual exam. Had several tests that showed I had no problems with my eyes. My prescription hadn’t changed so I didn’t need new glasses. I was in and out in under an hour. Good experience.

Our usual place to get glasses. Our family has been going here for many years. The doctor and staff are nice and very helpful and they have a large selection of frames.

I was replacing a broken pair of glasses and had just been to my retinal specialist so did not need a full exam. Everyone was very helpful and friendly. I was in and out quickly. Actually, my new glasses are better than my other pair!

Just left my Appointment, eye exam and needed glasses. Met with two great guys, Dr. Meyer and Ted. Ted had me rolling. 🤣🤣 I recommend this Clarkson to everyone. Entire staff very friendly and on point.

I came back to Crown after few years of seeing another provider. The difference in comfortability is remarkable! I guess I didn't think there was going to be a huge difference when I went to the other provider, and, I honestly didn't think anything was necessarily wrong. That was until for some reason I went back to Crown. I can't remember the last time I was able to actually forget I was wearing glasses. That's the difference I am currently experiencing, my glasses are extremely comfortable/well fitting, and easy to transition from reading close, to viewing distances as well. Thank you Crown, I will return next year.

Had to come here after failing a DOT Physical due to my eyesight, and this place and the people in it couldn’t have been anymore nicer and helpful if they tried, including the Dr and all the staff. I HIGHLY recommend Crown Vision if ya want top notch service without any lame sale tactics.

Accompanied my mother to her eye exam appointment and was greeted by a very warm and friendly staff member on arrival. Most impressive, she remained extremely cordial and caring with every customer she interacted with. I emphasize these traits primarily to honor individuals who live out excellent customer service. Dani Schulte not only excelled in this art, but is genuinely caring. She even offered to repair my sunglasses for free. Thank you Dani. You are a positive and energetic blessing. Thank you for what you do and please don't ever change.

Maria is the crowned jewel when it comes to customer service and helpfulness. I used to go to Clarkson Eyecare, and while I liked my doctor, the staff wasn't always easy to deal with and I always felt rushed and as if I were an annoyance. Crown Vision Center has been an upgrade. They understand that service and treating customers right, is the key to success. I always get a prompt response, they're helpful, and courteous.

I LOVE my new frames 🤩 I had a great experience at Crown Vision Center. The staff was incredibly friendly and welcoming, and Dr. Kojima was knowledgeable and took the time to explain everything clearly. The whole visit was quick and easy without feeling rushed. The location is very convenient, and they have a great selection of frames to choose from. Highly recommend!

Dr. Kojima and the staff are excellent — knowledgeable and friendly. I arrived a half hour before my appointment, but after filling out minimal paperwork, I was quickly taken to Dr. Kojima, who explained everything very clearly and answered all my questions very clearly. After the exam, the receptionist was very helpful in assisting my eyeglass frame selection. I was able to leave the store only 10 to 15 minutes after my original appointment time.

Dr Quinn and Kristina give top-level quality of care and treatment to my eye needs. Glasses are fitted perfectly. They listened to my needs and fulfilled, above and beyond. Much appreciation for them.

Dr. Chata besides the doctor I had when I got a severe concussion is the best spot on eye doctor I have ever had the pleasure of going to. She’s one of the only ones that has gotten my prescription exactly right. She was also very sweet patient and listened.

Best experience I have ever had at an eye doctor. When I walked in I was greeted immediately and was treated so nicely by the front desk. Then the young lady came to get me before seeing the doctor and she was very kind and did a great job with my test. The doctor came and was very thorough. He was very knowledgeable and took his time to explain my vision results. Finally I checked out with the optician and she was so kind and patient. She took good care of me. This will be my doctor from here on out. I highly recommend this office.

I switched to this location after a bad experience at a different location. I got a much friendlier experience here. The staff were very kind and professional. The ophthalmologist was thorough and did a good job explaining my options.

If I could give them 10 stars, I would! Dr. Sherwood is incredibly knowledgeable, professional, and it’s very clear that he genuinely cares about his patients. I have significantly worse vision in one eye and have always struggled with glasses because they caused double vision and a constant sense of imbalance, so I relied on contacts. Over the past two years, my vision had become increasingly blurry, especially at a distance, and it felt like I just couldn’t see clearly anymore. Dr. Sherwood adjusted my prescription so quickly, and honestly, it felt like I saw clearly for the first time yesterday. Everything is sharp and clear again—I can read easily and see things clearly at a distance. I’m still in awe of what a huge difference such a simple adjustment made. He even explained why my glasses gave me that imbalance and how we could make it that I would be able to in the future if I decided to get glasses; it’s so crazy that he is the first doctor in 10-15 years that was able to help with both. I do not remember her name (Sorry!!!) but the employee helping me order the contacts and bill everything through insurance was also sooooo caring and went above and beyond to help me with the prices. I am beyond grateful and would highly recommend Dr. Sherwood to anyone looking for exceptional eye care. Thank you sooooooooooo much! You guys have no idea what difference you’ve made!

Dr. Fullenwider is a top-notch practitioner, and his staff is excellent. I love that I see the same people when I return for annual visits. This is a sign of a well-run business. Thank you, Crown Vision Center!

I was kind of skeptical because the location is very far from where I stay but overall 10/10 all the staff were so sweet and kind. My doctor was very informative. He helped me resolve my issue very fast literally in a day! The store was very clean organized and smelled amazing. Everything was just overall wonderful. I now do not mind taking the drive at all. It’s worth it.
