Immediate opening for Doctors
Full Time Position (Fairfiew Heights, IL):
Provide eye examination to patients with following duties: Examine eyes to determine visual acuity and perception, focus and coordination; Determine patients’ refractive errors such as myopia, hyperopia, astigmatism and presbyopia using retinoscope and refractor; Diagnose eye diseases and other abnormalities such as red eyes, glaucoma, color blindness, cataracts and retinal disorders; Prescribe, supply, fit and adjust eyeglasses and contact lenses; Analyze test results and develop a treatment plan, and prescribe medications for the treatment; Perform specialized low vision examination and provide rehabilitation for elderly patients; Collaborate with in-house ophthalmologists to provide pre- and post-operative care to patients undergoing Cataract and LASIK vision correction surgeries.
Requires Doctor of Optometry degree with minimum 2 years experience in the offered position and be licensed in the State of Illinois. 40 hr/wk; Monday - Saturday, 9:00am-6:00pm. (Send resume to address below, attn to: Dr. Mark D. Wade, O.D.)
