About Us

Crown Vision Center was founded in 1961 by an optometrist in Alton, IL. Over the years, Crown Vision Center has expanded to 25 locations throughout Missouri and Illinois and is now one of the largest eyecare provides in St. Louis. All 25 locations are full service optometric centers with board certified optometrists. Crown Vision Center also has board certified surgical teams available for all your medical vision needs, such as cataracts.

 

The success of the company has been based on the concept of affordable vision services and everyday low-priced eyewear.  Over the past 40 years, we have built an enviable reputation in the “See Better Business” for delivering the highest quality professional eye care to more than 40,000 patients in the St. Louis area. 

 

Crown Vision Center wanted to strengthen its commitment to patients by offering more vision options than just contacts & glasses. In 1999, the decision was made to establish a laser eye surgery center in St. Louis. Crown Laser Center was created with only one mission in mind “we want to deliver the very finest laser vision correction experience and care to our patients.” To achieve this, Crown Laser Center constructed an experienced and professional surgical team, as well as, a state of the art facility to perform all LASIK surgeries.

Crown Gives Back

Crown Vision Center has renewed its commitment to the community with the establishment of Crown Cares for Kids. This program is designed for children through the age of 14 who have no vision insurance coverage or other benefit eligibility. Crown also partnered with KidSmart to ensure that children in St.Louis have enough supplies to help succeed in school.
